The most common question we get at the front desk isn't "which plan is cheapest" — it's "which plan should I actually take." Both Unreserved and Reserved members get the same AC hall, Wi-Fi, CCTV security, RO water and daily newspaper. The real difference is about your routine, not the facilities.

Choose Unreserved if your schedule shifts

Our 6, 8 and 12-hour Unreserved plans let you pick any available seat within your shift window. If you're balancing college, a job, or coaching classes alongside self-study and your free hours move around week to week, this flexibility matters more than a fixed desk.

Choose Reserved if you study the same hours daily

If your routine is stable — the same 8am-to-8pm block, five or six days a week — a Reserved 18 Hr or 24 Hr seat removes the small daily friction of finding a spot and resettling. Long-format aspirants (UPSC, CA, NEET repeaters) tend to get the most value here, since the seat becomes an extension of their routine rather than a shared resource.

A simple way to decide

  • Studying under 6 hours a day, at varying times → Unreserved 6 Hr
  • A stable half-day block, most days of the week → Unreserved 12 Hr
  • Full-day, every day, for months at a stretch → Reserved 18 Hr or 24 Hr
  • Just want to try the library before committing → One Day Pass, ₹150
